Welcome To The Space
This space is a journal to the Lord — but it holds a chair open for those in the midst of testimony, heavy moments tinted with reflection.
Through scripture, storytelling, and honest insight, By L. P. Wills seeks to point every reader including herself back to the One who authors it all.
Here, emotions are named—but faith has the final say.
This is for the woman who is healing.
For the one new to this journey of full surrendering, just like me.
For the soul-searcher longing for rest.
For the woman who’s finally moved to the passenger seat so God can drive.
For the one who loves words and wants a Christ-rooted community to grow with.
For the quiet one who doesn’t need to be loud to be heard.
So take what you need today— A scripture to hold, A prayer to whisper, A poem to wear across your heart, A story to remind you you’re not alone. Come back as often as you need. This journal is always open.
Why This Space Exists
Because I am called to serve.
Not with loud declarations— but with honesty, with open hands, and with a heart that longs to lead others to the Lord. I believe God has planted something in me — a way with words, a softness that cuts deep, a story that stirs something in others. I don’t always feel bold. But I trust the One who goes before me. So, I show up anyway - not because I have perfect confidence in myself, but because I have full confidence in Him. I know God is already here.
Faith doesn’t always look like certainty. Sometimes it looks like showing up anyway. I don’t always do everything right — but I crave God’s presence. I crave Jesus’s Heart. I crave His protection. I crave His Word. It is the only thing that truly anchors me — when I’m hurting, when I’m still, when I’m laughing with others. His Word has been my healing.
This space — By L. P. Wills — is like a journal cracked open. It holds the mess and the meaning, the questions and the quiet moments. It’s real, it’s raw, and it’s honest. Because faith doesn’t make life perfect — it just makes it anchored.
Just like the weather, life shifts — cloudy mornings, clear afternoons, sudden rain, then a rainbow, and sometimes, all of it in a single day. This space exists to name those shifts. To feel them. To write through them. To point back to Him in all of it.
Because I believe in being a good steward of the gift I’ve been given — the gift of storytelling. Of honesty. Of compassion. Of empathy, Of reaching for the one who feels like a burden, who feels unseen, who feels alone.
This space exists so you’ll know you are not.
Every page offers a reflection of growth tethered to faith. I am placed in the passenger seat and he writes the stories I share of me walking into true obedience. And I will gladly give up the driver’s seat to let Him lead.
Will You?
Who I Am?
Hi, I am L. P. Wills
A woman from Mississippi who grew up with a notebook full of words and heart full of wonder. These words don’t begin nor end with me. They’re rooted in something deeper.
For years, I ran from writing. creativity. I wrote and created in secret, scared of anyone seeing my art. Of anyone seeing my wounds, my tears, the stories that form. But when I started talking with Jesus and being honest with myself, I realized this tension was actually a gift - a calling I couldn’t ignore.
Today, I write to speak to others and my inner child who feels/felt scared or stretched too thin. To remind us that Jesus meets us there - quietly, patiently, and powerfully. He meets us everywhere we look - when you are having fun on vacation, when you are crying in your car, when you are telling someone you love them, when you lay down to go sleep, when you rise to another day in the week. He sees it all and he wants our heart.
I’m not perfect. But I’m present. And I pray these pages offer you that same reminder:
You’re not alone, and God is still writing something beautiful in you too.

What Anchors Us - OUR FOUNDATION
Before you explore the words I share, I want you to know the ground I write from. These truth hold me steady.
We believe healing is possible, purpose is real, and Jesus still saves. (Jeremiah 30:17, Ephesians 2:10, Romans 10:13)
We believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19-20)
We believe in the power of testimony - like Ruth’s redemption, Job’s endurance, Hosea’s mercy.
We believe faith is greater than feeling. (2 Corinthians 5:6-7)
We believe the Bible is alive, true, and trustworthy. (2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe in grace over perfection. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
The Mission Behind the Words
The goal isn’t to go viral.
It’s to plant seeds.
With every poem, every reflection, every story I share — I’m simply offering what God placed in me. Not to be praised, but to point back to Him.
I believe our stories have the power to water others. To remind the weary that they’re not alone. To highlight the purpose and calling placed on us as children of God — Not for perfection, but for pursuit. Not to perform, but to follow.
This is more than storytelling. It’s seed-sowing.
And my prayer is that something written here takes root in you too.
“So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.” - 1 Corinthians 3:7
